The Zarthoid skull is one of my original designs. The mask was sculpted traditionally by hand in oil-based clay, then molded in silicone. These resin copies are each produced by hand in my shop in Portland, Oregon. They are cast in a durable yet lightweight urethane resin.

The Zarthoid skull is one of my original designs. The mask was sculpted traditionally by hand in oil-based clay, then molded in silicone. These resin copies are each produced by hand in my shop in Portland, Oregon. They are cast in a durable yet lightweight urethane resin.

There are six finishes available:

  • UNPAINTED, UNTRIMMED
    The unpainted and untrimmed finish is straight out of the mold. You will need to clean up the edges and remove the material in the eyes if you want to be able to see out of it. A rotary tool is highly recommended for this. The resin material is generally too thick to cut with a utility knife or razor blade. The resin color is off-white bone.

  • UNPAINTED, TRIMMED
    This version has been trimmed and is ready for painting. The color is off-white bone.

  • BONE
    IRON
    These are fully painted, but do not include a strap or padding.

  • BONE WITH STRAP/PADDING
    IRON WITH STRAP/PADDING
    These versions are ready to wear. They are fully painted and finished, with adjustable leather strap and foam padding. You may want to add additional padding to the mask for the best fit on your head.

The mask is one-size-fits-most. It is sized for an adult head, but a perfect fit is not guaranteed.

This mask is great for costuming and cosplay but it is NOT intended to offer any sort of protection for airsoft or any other sports or dangerous activities.
