Rabbit Splicer Mask, Bioshock

This rabbit mask is one of several different masquerade masks seen in the video game Bioshock. Deformed and deranged from their addiction to ADAM, the Splicer characters wear the masks in order to hide their grotesque faces.

This mask was sculpted by hand using Apoxie Sculpt over a Pepakura papercraft base. The version seen here is a resin cast made from a silicone mold of the original sculpt. The paint is all acrylic, including the blood splatter effects. The mask includes an adjustable leather strap for wearing.
