SAO Death Gun Mask - Stainless Steel - Painted/Finished with Lenses and Leather Strap
Inspired by the Death Gun character from the Sword Art Online anime, this hand-made mask is a resin cast of my original hand-sculpted version. This is a fully finished and painted mask. It includes red acrylic lenses in the eyes and an adjustable leather strap.
***NOTE: The eyes in this mask do not light up. There is reflective aluminum tape behind the red lenses which reflects light and gives them a glowing effect in certain lighting conditions, but they do not produce light on their own. The reflective backing is held in place temporarily with tape, so it can be removed when wearing the mask.
The mask is made of cold-cast stainless steel (urethane resin with stainless steel powder mixed in) which has been polished to a dull shine. The mask has been painted to simulate a slightly weathered appearance. The inside of the mask is gray.
The mask is "one-size-fits-most." The inside width is approximately 6 inches, measured from temple to temple. The total height is approximately 9 1/2 inches. Padding is NOT included with the mask, but you can add it easily (I recommend upholstery foam).
The leather strap includes three buckles so it can be adjusted for most head sizes. The strap is attached to the mask using Chicago screws so it can be easily removed if necessary.
This mask is perfect for costuming and cosplay but is NOT intended to offer any sort of protection for airsoft or other sports.
