Spirited Away No-Face Mask (Kaonashi)

Perfect for any Studio Ghibli fan, this handmade mask is inspired by the No-Face (Kaonashi) character in Hayao Miyazaki’s iconic film, Spirited Away.
The mask is made of thin epoxy fiberglass — this makes it very lightweight (~12 oz) yet very durable. All masks come with a built-in hanger for displaying on a wall.
Unpainted
The unpainted mask comes fully trimmed and ready to paint. The mask has a slight surface texture and practically any type of paint will bond to it. The color is light gray.
Painted
The painted mask is fully finished and ready to display. It includes a dense mesh fabric in the eyes and mouth which allows you to see out while wearing the mask.
If you plan to wear the mask: Please note this is a large mask. It measures 11 inches (28 cm) across and 19 inches (48 cm) tall. The eyes are spaced farther apart than average human eyes, and this will limit your vision directly in front of you. If you wear the mask high on your head, you can also see through the mouth. The mask does not include straps or padding for wearing. You will need to add this for your costume. Straps and attachments can easily be glued to the inside of the mask using a strong adhesive such as 2-part epoxy.
