The Last of Us Clicker Resin Magnet - Handmade Refrigerator Art

Inspired by the clickers from The Last of Us video game, this handmade magnet is a great display piece for your refrigerator or any other magnetic surface. At one-third scale, the magnet is approximately three inches tall. I sculpted the magnet entirely by hand using oil-based clay and traditional sculpting techniques.

UNPAINTED
The unpainted version is off-white urethane resin. It may be painted using a variety of techniques and paint types (acrylic, lacquer, etc).

PAINTED
This is a fully painted and finished version. The painted magnet shown in the photos is an example of the finished look, but please note that each piece is hand-painted and unique in its appearance.

All versions have a strong neodymium magnet embedded permanently in the back surface.

To create the magnet I used a mix of 3D printing and traditional sculpting techniques. To get the starting shape, I used a low-poly 3D model printed at one-third scale. This model was then molded, and a clay cast was created for detail work. A second mold was created of the final clay sculpt for producing additional copies in resin.
